Steven G. Cervantes Jr. passed away on January 6, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born on January 31, 1981.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Lopez.
Steven is survived by his wife Melissa Gutierrez; his father, Steven G. Cervantes Sr. and stepmom Diane Cervantes; brothers, Jesus S. Cervantes and Jesse Lopez; sisters, Stephanie Cervantes and Christina Lopez; nieces, Maribel A. Cavazos and Mireya A. Cavazos; grand-niece, Abriee D. Pena; step-siblings, Lesley Mendez, Orlando Loredo and Adriana Loredo.
Please join the family on Saturday, January 9th for viewing/visitation at 12:00 p.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. at Allen Dave Funeral Home, 2103 Cypress Landing Dr. A reception will follow after the service at the funeral home.

Hide and seek in the backyard with neighborhood kids... the sound of the ice cream truck in the distance...riding bikes through the neighborhood... you wouldn't let me ride your bike because it had no brakes... the fort we made out of a T.V. box... playing Mario Brothers on the Nintendo for hours... I would grin and stick my tongue out at you when you got a spanking... the day that man robbed Grandma's plant (weird) at gun point... you had me go hide in my closet... and made sure I was ok. Those Friday evening trips to the store in the bed of the truck... We would get to pick almost anything we wanted... we were best friends... I lost you (all of you) a long time ago... cried many tears... searched many years... I found you on Facebook... I don't think you ever looked... now time has come for me to close a book.. When I get to Heaven... for you.. I will look!
