Sieglinde Moran Obituary

Sieglinde Theresa Moran, 88, died July 7, 2008, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 3900 Wisconsin St. The Rev. Vincent Blanco will officiate.
Sieglinde Moran was born Nov. 17, 1919, in Munich, Germany. She had been a resident of Alaska since 1954. She lived in Juneau from 1954 until 1955; she moved to Anchorage in 1955. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish as well as a member of Pioneers of Alaska Women's Auxiliary No. 4.
"Her love of family, for whom she labored tirelessly, was an inspiration to all," her family wrote. "She will be greatly missed."
Sieglinde Theresa Moran is survived by her son, Liam J. Moran; daughter-in-law, Ellen W. Moran; granddaughters, Molly Moran Fremeau and Maggie Moran Hayden; grandsons, Colin Matthew Moran and Liam Andrew Moran; great-granddaughter, Audrey Jane Fremeau; and great-grandson, Finn William Hayden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Moran.
Memorial donations are suggested to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 3900 Wisconsin St., Anchorage 99517.
Burial will take place at Anchorage Memorial Park.
Arrangements are entrusted to Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home.
