We wanted to but were unable to attend the memorial service for Stan but Al and Bunny Chong definitely add our heartfelt condolences to the McLane Family. We had the honor of being invited to Mr. McLane's 80th birthday party where we had the pleasure of meeting him personally. It is quite evident that Stanley McLane has been an ICON here in Alaska and he's leaving an awesome legacy that is being carried on proudly by his sons, Michael, Sam and Scott. God be with you all during your time of grief and saying farewell. Aloha from Al and Bunny Chong.

I hope that I can make it to the get together on Saturday to honor Stan and let you all know how sorry I am for your loss. However, I am scheduled to work that day...soooo...I would just like to say that it was an honor to know and have this person in my life. He made some lasting impressions on me.....his kindness, patience and humor will always be remembered....I am thankful that he was the one that taught me to downhill ski and was there for me in those scary times!! He was another fatherly figure in my life that I shall never forget. Thank you, Stan...and may you all be blessed by all the wonderful memories!
