Thomas F. Heit

Alaskan Resident, Thomas Frederick Heit, 57, passed away suddenly on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, in Anchorage, Alaska. Thomas was born on July 31, 1958, in Billing, Mont. He moved his family to Palmer, Alaska, on Nov. 3, 2005. His enjoyed hunting, fishing, football (Bronco Fan) and auto body work. Tom loved spending time with his boys and family. He loved to make people laugh. He gave the biggest hugs and hand shakes. He loved to play with his granddaughter. Tom was a very hard worker and always took care of his family. Thomas is survived by his wife, Dorene Heit of Palmer, Alaska; sons, Justin Loftis of Elko, Nev., and Thomas; granddaughter, Haylie Heit of Palmer, Alaska, Brandon and Nathan Heit of Palmer, Alaska; brother, Dan and Lori Heit of Billing, Mont.; sisters, Jerry Joy of Sheideem, Wyo., and Billie; neice, Mindy of Anchorage, Alaska, Lori and Skip of Anchorage, Alaska, Debbie and Dave Dubios of Anchorage, Alaska, and Cheryl Sullivan of Hilbert, Wis.; brothers, David Hamelton of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Don Hamelton of Butte, Mont.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Mairilyn Heit, Mary Jo Alexander, and brother, Russ Heit. Arrangements were under the direction of Valley Funeral Home, Wasilla Chapel.
