Thomas Tuttle Obituary

Thomas John Tuttle, 73, of Palmer died April 5, 2008, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
A family service was held at home.
Thomas was born Dec. 31, 1934, in Tacoma, Wash.
He lived in Anchorage from 1959 to 1960 and 1966 to 1981. He also lived in Homer from 1981 to 1989, in Craig from 1989 to 2002, and most recently in Palmer, since 2002.
He was employed as an insurance agent from 1970 to 1991 and as a commercial fisherman from 1975 to 2002.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Marilyn Tuttle of Palmer; sons, Fred S. Tuttle and Jim R. Tuttle, both of Salcha; daughter, Lori J. Tuttle of Anchorage; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kathy Tuttle of Palmer; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and James Marker of Naukati; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are with Kehl's Palmer Mortuary.

I will treasure our plane trips, our gold mining trips, and of course our hunting trips. Duck hunting, moose hunting and all those caribou. I can't forget the time you taped your plane together with "thousand mile tape", so we could get off the beach and home again. Rest easy, my friend.
