Walt Baldwin was an amazing man. My dad, Dave Fremming loved that guy as we all did. Walt penciled a drawing of my sisters and I over 20 years ago and I treasure that drawing. He will be greatly missed, God bless Walt.

Walter was a doll, I so enjoyed our time together in Seattle with his daugther Cathy and sister Clara. I would sometime get them and we would go for a ride. One time we went to lake washington, set up chairs and just looked out on the water. A bald eagle came swooping down and pulled a fish out of the water that was too heavy for the bird to get much lift. The smile that came across his face showed a moment of escape from his struggle and displayed the joy for life he had. You will be sorely missed by many. On to the next journey my friend !

My old friend Walt enjoyed an interesting life, living in two worlds as it were: one, out on the wild and the other couched in busy offices. He was strong, durable and honest and those who enjoyed his friendship were fortunate.
He will be missed.

Such a fine person, I worked a little with Walt years ago when he worked for the Governor's Office, and got to know him more in later years. He had a very kind soul.
