Wayne Gray Obituary
Wayne was a registered Guide at the Alsek River Lodge and a commercial fisherman for halibut and salmon. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, graphic arts, metal works, sports and coaching.
Wayne is survived by his parents, Gary and Ginger (Medcalf) Gray of Yakutat; brother Scott and wife Kelsey Gray of Carlsbad, NM; grandmother Winifred Medcalf; his uncles and aunts: Dale Gray, Debbie (Gray) and Roger Korb, Brian and Darlene Medcalf, Terann (Medcalf) and Lester Carr, Dana and Ruth Medcalf, Lane and Judy Medcalf, Carson Medcalf, Philip Medcalf, Kerrith (Medcalf) and David Stapp; and many cousins.
A celebration of his life was held at 7:30pm on June 27, 2011 at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall in Yakutat, with Tracy Hodges officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Legacy Funeral Home Kehl's Chapel.
