Harold was one of my many uncles. Probably the one I knew the least about until late in his life, but when I learned more about him, he was one of the best. And he always had a piece of that parachute from his jumps into Europe during the last great war. God bless, Arvil

Your Dad loved his children, what a blessing you were in his life. His life experiences were educational and fascinating, but I am convinced none of us can thoroughly comprehend or appreciate the life he lived—unless we have walked the same walk we can only think we understand. All of us should be grateful for our contact with the “greatest generation”. Honorable WWII veterans are a group who made our world a better place, Bill Flippin was one of those men. Cling to all the precious memories you have of your Dad. Our love and prayers are with you. God bless. Paul and Judi Cloninger
