Steven Flippin Obituary
Steven was born on August 4, 1957, in Yellville, Arkansas to Eugene and Katherine Flippin. He was known by many for his ability to fix things, play guitar and fly airplanes, real and radio controlled. He spent his career as a pilot and aircraft sales specialist at Aviall, Westwind Aviation and Ellevate Academy by United Airlines, where he was respected for the best Cessna Sales Professional. Outside of work, Steven was passionate about building radio-controlled cars and airplanes and was a classic rock enthusiast where ZZ Top and Southern Rock rang through any radio that was close to Steven.
He is survived by his beloved Angelita Solonga Flippin; his children, Tim, Jason, Sheila and Maria Bottorff, his grandchildren, Courtney, Ciro, Eli, Brezaya and Jason Jr, and his great grandchildren, Tobi, Owen, and Luxanna. He also leaves behind his niece Christy Moore, and many cherished friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service to celebrate Steven's life will be held on January 18, 2026, at 2:00pm at Camino Del Sol Funeral Home in Sun City West, Arizona.
