Josephine Conroy Obituary
Josephine Conroy, age 75, passed away on Dec. 16, 2015, in Mesa, Arizona.
She was born on March 8, 1940, to Henry and Mary Balvin, both of whom preceded her in death.
Josephine was a long term resident of Alamogordo, N.M. She had a career in special education as a teacher from which she retired. After retirement, she volunteered in her community. She was a Pink lady at the local Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center. Along with her experience as a Pink lady, she volunteered in the pharmacy at Holloman Air Force Base. She took great joy in all these experiences.
She is survived by her daughters, Heather Conroy and her granddaughter, Cheyanne Conroy, of Alamogordo, N.M.; and Kimberly Conroy and her grandson, Nick Conroy, of Mesa, Ariz. Her only living sibling is Hank Balvin of Fla.
Josephine also had an extended family in lifelong friend, Candy Reynolds and her daughters; Susan Allen and her husband, Jim Allen, and son Tyler Allen, along with Diane Sanborn and her husband Jeff Sanborn.
A celebration of life ceremony will occur at Grace United Methodist Church, 1206 Greenwood Lane, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at 2 p.m.

I HAVE SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES OF THE YEARS I WORKED WITH JO AT SACRAMENTO. SHE LOVED HER STUDENTS AND THEY WERE DEFINITELY "HER KIDS". NOBODY MESSED WITH HER KIDS! SHE WAS PROUD OF YOU GIRLS AND SPOKE OF YOU OFTEN.
I'M SURE YOU HAVE MANY HAPPY MEMORIES OF YOUR MOM. NO MATTER HOW GROWN UP YOU
