1957 - 2018

Luz Maria Martinez-Felix, "Lucy", 61, was called to her heavenly home on August 1, 2018. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God ultimately gave her peace.
Lucy was born in Tularosa, New Mexico on May 31, 1957. Lucy was blessed with a loving family. Together with her husband Manuel, they raised their two daughters with patience, discipline and humility.
Lucy was loving, kind and soft-spoken, and always had time to answer a question, solve a problem no matter how small. She is dearly missed by all who loved her, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with God.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Manuel; her daughters Beatris Felix-Hicks (son-in-law Mark Hicks) and Irene Felix-Hausermann; her grandchildren Desiree, Joshua, Jazmin, Dominique and Israela; and her great-grandson Matthew. Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend to all that were blessed to have known her.
Memorial Services for Lucy will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church with a rosary at 9:30 am, Mass at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Tularosa, New Mexico.
