Remembering Mike as a youth; he was always an honorable man. Might've been the only motorcycle officer that I remember and I use to race motorbikes as I got older. Going to miss the old times & old Alamogordo days, Officer Kizer was an integral part of this community and I'm sure all of us that knew him then will be missing him that much more. Large space to fill and one that has been left behind, God's blessings going forward and condolences to Mike's family here today.

Mike was an amazing officer and a wonderful friend. I most admired his camaraderie with all of the young people in the community. As he rode his motorcycle down the street he was always waving and calling out to kids by first name. He was truly an officer and a gentleman. He will be sorely missed.

Mike if only more of our leaders were like you, (1) lifting others up and helping them be the best they can be... because .... you are never as tall as when you are reaching down to help others up. (2) Always ready to give someone a smile to lift their spirits. (3) To show your affection for others and your town, not in words but in service to others. (4) A friend that made it easy to come to with any problem, because you listened, and related, rather then to talked and lectured. The world needs more Mike's, and I hope more people will emulate you, while they think about how special you were to them. Prayers to your family, I know they will be missing you dearly, but I also know they will carry you in their heart for the rest of their journey on this earth. Job well done good and faithful servant seems inadequate, however Job Well Done, Rest in Peace and Bask in the love, you find in Heaven.
