Myrtle Parsons Obituary
Myrtle was born in Donalsonville, GA to James and Susie Storey on August 29, 1946. Her family moved to Albany, GA where she was raised and attended Albany High School. She met an US Airman, Bob Parsons, who was stationed in Albany and they married in 1962.
They moved to Lee County, GA in 1978 where they raised their family and where Myrtle was active in their family business, South Georgia Heating and Cooling. She loved caring for her family, kids and grandkids and traveling to Biloxi.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Parsons, her sons, Shane (Rana) Parsons and Boulder (Ginger) Parsons, her grandchildren, Shayna (Jeremy) Ellis, Kaylin Griffin, Destiny Edwards, Kolt (Kaitlyn) Parsons all of Lee County, GA, Autumn Parsons of Savannah, GA and Stone (Makayla) Parsons of Springfield, GA, a sister, JoAnne Sullivan of Little Rock, AK and her great-grandchildren, Haze, Steel, Brylyn, Triton, Gatlin, Sylar, Pearl and Memphis.
The family will receive friends following the graveside at Leesburg, GA.
Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Myrtle to Shriners Hospitals for Children c/o Hasan Shriners Transportation Fund, 1822 Palmyra Rd., Albany, GA, 31701 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
