Juan Rodriguez Molina, age 82, entered eternal rest February 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 12, 1938 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Florencio and Trinidad Molina. Juan was a migrant farm worker who later owned and operated his own business where their main produce shipped was watermelons. He previously worked for the Houston Independent School District police department. Juan was a devout catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus – Gold Member. Juan was strong in his faith and prayer and had a strong passion for the Lord. He devotedly prayed the rosary every night. Juan will be remembered by many as a simple man who enjoyed the company of his daughter during their daily morning breakfast, a cup of coffee or a plate of ""chilaclas"". Juan's final wishes were to come home to the comfort of his environment and family where he peacefully passed during the recital of a rosary and the warm touch of his mother's hand. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Florencio Molina, brother, Zacharias Molina; step-daugther Mary Jane Maldonado, step-grandchildren, Dory Rufina Maldonado and David Samuel Sepeda; and step-great-grandchild, Jodi Jaylen Ramos.

Juan is survived by his wife, Rachel Molina of Sandia; daughters, Melinda Molina of Sandia and Liza Ochoa of Sandia; mother, Trinidad Molina (the late Florencio Molina) of Robstown; siblings, Arturo Molina (Zulema) of Corpus Christi and Rosa Govea (Felix) of Houston; grandchildren, Christian R. Ochoa and Josh N. Ochoa; step-children, the late Mary Jane Maldonado (Arnold) of South Carolina, Sandy Ramos (Raymond) of Houston, Joe Anthony ""Tony"" Sepeda of New York, Abel Sepeda of California, and Xavier Sepeda (Yolanda) of Katy; step-grandchildren, Jaclyn Courtney (Vance), Jasmine Blades (Mark), Joslyn McBride (Demi), Gregory Ramos (Jasmine), Stephanie Ramos, and Ariel Sepeda. He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews which include Arturo Molina Jr. (Angie), Yolanda Rivera-Roman (Porfy), Amy Pratt (Adam), Joseph Molina (April) and Michael Molina; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel followed by a funeral mass at 3 p.m. at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove. Burial to follow at St. John of the Cross Cemetery.

Services will be livestreamed via Rosas Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 1 p.m. Please like the page and you will be notified once services begin. Facemasks are required upon entering our facilities and during all services.

Pallbearers will be TX DPS Corporal Ronnie Ramirez, TX DPS Trooper Ruben Solis, Josh Ochoa, Gregory Ramos, AMN Anthony Molina, Joseph Molina, Joseph Falcon, and Ryan Molina Govea.
