Margaret Davila

Margaret Roxanne Davila Margaret Roxanne Davila of Alice, Texas passed, away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 40. She was born in Alice, Texas to her parents, Raul and Belinda Davila on August 23,1982. Roxanne always had a smile on her face and she was humble, quite, kind, and generous. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to help anyone in need. She loved to cook and was famous for her delicious "Chonchas". She enjoyed dancing and listening to Spanish music and was the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She always looked forward to celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, enjoying the fellowship, laughter, joking, and best of all, eating her mother's delicious meals. Roxanne, better known as Mom and Mommie, will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Roxanne is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rogelio and Genoveva Davila, and maternal grandparents, Israel "Bruni" and Margarita "Bebe" Hernandez. Left behind to cherish Roxanne's memories are her daughters, Misty Cervantes, Zoey Cervantes (Jon Carlo Rodriguez), and Melanie Cervantes; sons, Jose "Tres" Cervantes, III, A.J. Sandoval, Jr., and Josiah Sandoval; her parents, Raul and Belinda Davila; sisters, Tabitha Davila (Matthew) and Daisy Davila (Jacob Carbajal); brother, Raul (Victoria) Davila, Jr.; two grandchildren, Pedro Joaquin Castillo, III and Matthew Ryan Gonzalez, Jr.; father to her children, Jose "Joey" Cervantes, Jr.; former in-laws, Jose and Rosabel Cervantes; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. The family will receive condolences on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Trevino Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St., from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a Prayer Service to begin at 12:30 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Roberson-Collins Cemetery. Honoring Roxanne as pallbearers are Jose Cervantes Jr., M.J.
