Shirley Weaver Obituary
Alice - Shirley Kay Weaver, age 74, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 in Alice, TX. She was born in Brownwood, TX on July 19, 1947 to Wilton Humphries and Hortence Kembow.
Shirley was a life-long resident of Alice, TX. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her lawn. She always made sure it was well kept and manicured.
Shirley began working at the tender age of 16 as a receptionist for a local Chevorlet dealership. She had a tremendous work ethic and was a work-oriented young woman. Shirley and her late husband, Gary, were the owners of Oil Field Utilities, but Shirley was truly the heart and soul of the company. She also cared for her disabled son his entire life, up until the very end.
She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gray Weaver and son, Robert Weaver.
She is survived by her son, Michael W. Weaver.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Alice Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
