Eldalene C. Todd

1939 - 2021

Eldalene C. Todd, age 81, of Welsh, La passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Eldalene was born Nov. 11, 1939.
She adored spending time with family and friends. Eldalene was a true Cajun woman who enjoyed listening and dancing to her French music. She loved to travel with her family, did not matter the destination she was excited to be on the road. Eldalene did her best to never miss an event or game for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who is already deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 62 years, Paul Todd, Jr.; daughter, Katherine Ann Todd; sons, Tab Todd (Janet), and Wayne Todd (Krystie); 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Edward Cormier.
Eldalene is preceded in death by her sister, Helen Cormier; and her parents, Ada and Theobert Cormier.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Welsh, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors at 1:30 p.m. and will be led by Father Alan Trouille.
