I have known Alex for over 40 years. Starting in Winterset at the quarry, Ames, and Huxley. Bill and I, Alex and Leah, Dick, John, Leland, Raymond and others on a varying basis, playing cards on Saturday nights at everyones homes, sharing comradely. Most of them gone now. He loved going to sprint car races in Knoxville and having his card shop next to his home in Huxley. He loved his two sons. He was one of a kind and will be truly be missed. Sleep well Alex.
