Michael Radosevich Obituary

March 12, 1960-May 12, 2008

Michael Gerard Radosevich, 48, of Ames, died Monday, May 12. A funeral service in memory of Michael will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 2900 Hoover Ave., in Ames. Interment will follow in the family plot at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., with a rosary service beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at Stevens Memorial Chapel, 607 28th St., in Ames.

Michael Gerard Radosevich was born March 12, 1960, in Des Moines. He lived in Ames for more than 36 years. He graduated from Ames High School in 1978 and was a member of the wrestling team. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his parents, Betty and Fred Radosevich, of Ames; two brothers, Tom Radosevich and his wife, Suzie, of Fort Collins, Colo., and Patrick Radosevich and his wife, Michele, of Phoenix; three sisters, Cyndi Jensen, of Nevada, Julie Spezzamonte and her husband, Gianni, of Murano, Italy, and Liz Perticari, of Rimini, Italy; and 13 nieces and nephews. He was an inspiration to his entire family. He enjoyed playing cards, "I'll buy that," traveling to Italy and his Croatian heritage. He will be waiting with open arms for us all in heaven.

The family requests that donations be made to the Sharon's ride/walk-Epilepsy Foundation San Diego County, 2055 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA92104.

God delivered a special person into this world 48 yrs ago. We will miss you Michael but will have fond memories of you. Your smile was always heart warming & those beautiful blue eyes sparkled.
