Baby Mersereau Obituary

Our precious Kasyn Christopher was cradled in love from the moment he came into this world on May 6, 2025, until he was called home on August 13, 2025. In his short time with us, Kasyn touched more hearts than words could ever measure. His perfect smile and the light in his eyes brought joy to everyone blessed to meet him. Kasyn was welcomed into Heaven by multiple great- and great- great- grandparents; an aunt: Jennifer; two cousins: Jason and Adreane; and multiple uncles, who we know are all holding him close now. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory-his loving mom: Allyson; his dad: Billy; his big sister: Laynie; his grandparents: Vickie Taylor of Chaunte, Bill Mersereau of Canton (Mary), and Macy Kuhn of Bogalusa (David); aunts and uncles: Alayna Giroir of Hammond (David), Scott Mitchell of Bogalusa, Mika Taylor of Fredonia (Alex), Makayla Ward of Chaunte (Corey), and Connor Mersereau of Canton; and multiple cousins-each of whom carries a piece of Kasyn in their heart. Though his time on Earth was far too short, the love he gave and received will never fade. We find comfort in knowing that Kasyn's story will live on in the laughter, kindness, and love we share in his honor. Services will be held at Brown-McGehee on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Isabel Baptist Church.
