Felix Joseph "Joey" Gaudet IV, of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on June 14, 1962, in Metairie, Louisiana, the son of the late Felix J. Gaudet III and Jean Ann Vellier Gaudet. Together with his two brothers, Joey owned and operated Kenner Equipment Company-a proud family business established fifty years ago by their beloved mother and father.
Joey is survived by his wife, Lisa Boudreaux Gaudet; son, Joël Lee Gaudet and his wife Meagan; granddaughters, Aryanna, Aislynn, and Avalynn; two brothers, Timothy A. Gaudet and his wife Angela, and Richard F. Gaudet and his wife Tiffany. Joey was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom he treasured, including Andrew, Alex, Emily Jean, and Blake. Among them he spent much time with Emily Jean, and Blake, whom he looked upon as his grandchildren and took immense joy in being part of their lives.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. John Memorial Gardens, 2205 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace, Louisiana 70068 on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 10:00 am.
