Joe Causey Obituary

Joe Larry Causey was born on September 24, 1955 to the late Melvin and Herlene Magee Causey. He was the third of five siblings. He departed this life on May 28, 2025. Joe was a professional truck driver until his health declined. He was a Loving father and grandfather. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Herlene Causey and one grandchild, Kenneth Causey, Jr. "Kenny Boy". He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Kenneth(Laura) Causey, Sr. and Kevin (Lashunda) Causey of Franklinton, LA; seven grandchildren, Isabella Causey, Isaiah Causey, Kirklyn Nelson, Kaitlyn Nelson, Gerderius Nelson, Skyla Nelson, Nathone Nelson all of Franklinton; his siblings, Willie Causey, Romma Jean Magee, Corine Holmes, and Sherry Causey all of Franklinton, LA and a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Causey - Officiating. Interment will be held at the Greater Hayes Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Franklinton are in charge of arrangements. Please sign guestbook at www.crainandsons.com.
