John D. Williams Jr.

John D. Williams Jr., of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on June 5, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana. John is the loving husband of Janet Smith Williams; cherished stepfather of Alvin Jimenez Jr. (Crystal), Courtney Jimenez, and Jeffrey Jimenez; and proud "PaPa" of Makayla Jimenez, Mallory Jimenez, Brayley Jimenez, and Robbie Roper. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends, all of whom he loved greatly. John was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Jean Lail and John D. Williams Sr.; his grandparents, Bertha and Dave Williams; his sister, Pamela Jean Williams; and his brother, Freddie Lail. John was liked and loved by everyone he met. He was a pest control technician for DA Exterminating for 19 dedicated years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, listening to talk radio shows, and proudly served as 1st Officer for Southern Cruisers Riding Club-Northshore Chapter 256; supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He especially enjoyed taking his granddaughters on vacations. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A closing prayer will begin in the Audubon Room at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
