Ronald "Ronnie" Jones

Ronnie, age 73, passed away at his home surrounded by those he loved on Thursday, August 14, 2025. He was a resident of Pine Grove, Louisiana. He has been the proud and dedicated owner of Tri-Parish Door Company for over 25 years. Ronnie embodied country living and enjoyed raising and working cattle, turkey hunting, and watching wildlife. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be forever loved and missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. He is survived by his son, Ronald "Ron" Jones II; daughter, Carla Lovett and husband Clint; grandchildren, Ethan Lovett and wife Sydney, Dalton Lovett, Madison Jones, and Morgan Jones; great-grandchildren, Damian, Sarah, and Barrett Lovett; and fiancée. Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred "Topsy" Dunlap; and grandmother, Bessie Dunlap. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home 7738 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The visitation will resume the following day, Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Vickers Cemetery. A reception will be held at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church 1191 Arnold Rd. Denham Springs, LA 70726.
