Alex Haynes Obituary

A funeral service for Mr. Alex Lavon Haynes, 21, of Oxford will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Hopeful Baptist Church on Cheaha Road with Bro. Eddie Haynes officiating. A visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Alex passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. He is survived by Mother Tamera Haynes Hill (Shane), sister Grace Hill, brother Zane Hill, grandparents: Eddie and Harriet Haynes, aunts: Dana Pennington (Johnny) and Sharon Munroe, cousins: Bethany Moore (Ryan), Pelham Smith (Angelica), and Clark Munroe. Alex is preceded in death by his great grandparents Lavon and Frances Haynes, and Hugh and Dot Rowell. Pallbearers will be Shane Hill, Clark Munroe, Sid Ellis, Jeffery Smith, Trey Snyder, and Jaden Amberson. Alex loved being outdoors. He enjoyed working, farming, hunting, running heavy equipment as well as riding his ATV with his many friends. He was well-liked, loved his animals, and had a big heart. Alex professed his faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone at any time. He will be greatly missed by many people, friends, coworkers, and family.
