Bobby Harold Carlisle

Bobby Harold Carlisle passed away February 28, 2024 at the age of 82. A funeral service in his honor will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega, AL with John Whetstone officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Blue Eye Baptist Cemetery in Lincoln, AL. Bobby was a native and lifelong resident of Lincoln, AL. He was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He was a member of Eastaboga Baptist Church and was retired from Anniston Army Depot. Bobby was a lifelong supporter of Lincoln athletics. He was an avid cruiser, square dancer, and fan of Auburn University. Mr. Carlisle is survived by his wife of 56 years, Glenda Lambert Carlisle, daughters, Lisa Carlisle Kelly (Brian) and Bobbie Lynn Carlisle Phillips (Bill), grandchildren Austin Phillips, Grayson Phillips (Summer Earle), and John Kelly and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Margie Carlisle, sisters Johnnie Calhoun, Mary Wilda Carlisle, and Jacqueline Howard, and brother Charles Carlisle. Pallbearers will be Austin Phillips, Grayson Phillips, John Kelly, George Neal Phillips, Tommy Carlisle, Jeff Fisher, and Michael Howard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Eastaboga Baptist Church, 107 Church Ln., Eastaboga, AL 36260. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the service.
