Doris Bain Obituary

A visitation/memorial service for Mrs. Doris Finley Bain, 76, of Anniston, will be this evening from 5-7 p.m. at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Mrs. Bain died Tuesday at her residence. Mrs. Bain was a life-long resident of Calhoun County and Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to many. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Albert Bain and her parents, Robert "Bob" and Pearl Finley. Survivors include one daughter, Darlene White and husband, Chris, of Alexandria; three sons, Glenn Bain and wife, Gina, of Simpsonville, S.C., Alan Bain and wife, Ara, of White Plains, and Michael Bain and wife, Cathy, of White Plains; six sisters, Bobbie Ficklen, Ruth Johnson and husband, Royce, Mildred Monroe and husband, Tommy, Willie Agnes Wingo and husband, Monroe, Linda Cobb and husband, Randy, and Mary Sims; two brothers, Elbert Finley and wife, Kay and David Finley and wife, Gloria; six grandchildren, Ansley Bain, Danielle White, Savannah White, Carey Bain Jenkins, Jeremy Bain, and Rachel Bain McRee; three great-grandchildren, Will Bain, Emily Bain, and Anderson Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the White Plains Fire Department (68 White Plains Road; Anniston, AL 36207) and the Quad City Fire Department (220 Iron City Cutoff; Anniston, AL 36207).
