Rhonda McKinney was born July 10, 1956 in Anniston, AL to Willie and Eula Vincent. She passed away at home Monday, June 21, 2021. Mrs. McKinney attended Anniston City Schools and was a long-time resident of Calhoun County.
She was married to the late Willie McKinney, a retired Army veteran. Rhonda was very artistic, and loved crafting, traveling, cooking and family. Rhonda had an unsurpassed heart of gold, generous with her love and concern for other's well being. She spent countless hours researching her and Willie's family history. Rhonda's sisters often joked that Rhonda had many more relatives than the rest of the family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Eula Vincent; brothers, Charles and Ralph Bush; and sister/cousin, Rhonda Vincent. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Terrance McKinney and Dontrell McKinney of Anniston, AL; uncles Robert Bush and Paul Vincent of Anniston, AL; sisters, Betty Vincent and Patricia McBride of Anniston, AL, Johnnie (Sherman) Hills of Stone Mountain, GA, Pamela Vincent of Sacramento, CA, Valencia (Sergio) Larios of Chatsworth, CA, Terri (John) Tolbert of Birmingham, AL, Samantha (Rocco) Babinec of San Clemente, CA, Barbara Vincent of GA, and Diane of CA; brothers, Willie Roger Vincent of Anniston, AL and Darrell Vincent of San Jose, CA; grandchildren, Tiere Curry, Shynece Grinnage, Teyanna, Taejanna, Nijah, Sterling, Ashawnie, Kilyh and Zayan McKinney; sister/friend Dot Turner; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (www.vfw.org); or The Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research, FDR Station, PO Box 220, New York, NY 10150 (www.alzinfo.org).
