Was a good friend and worked with Steve at the Depot. I miss him and remember him often. He was a "great" Alabama fan! Roll Tide Steve!

He was a good friend and I remember fondly of conversations about Alabama Football many times. I can not believe it has been six years since his passing. He was a really good person and I still miss him very much. He would certainly have enjoyed this past football season and been very proud of what Alabama accomplished. RTR Big Steve!!!

I can't believe that it has been six years already. Time does really fly. Life is like a vapor. It would be terrible to not be remembered. I still have fond memories of talking about Alabama football with Steve. He was a man of principle and a good friend and I will always remember working with him and being his friend. I like what one person wrote back five years ago about him being up there talking with Coach Bryant about the upcoming season. Great guy, and I still miss him.

Becky: Linda and I were saddened and shocked to learn of Stevie's passing. I'm sorry we learned of it so late, I would preferred to attend his wake and services. I've known Stevie through his father James almost all of Stevie's life, and it saddens me greatly that he is gone. May God bless you and the children.

I have known Stevie since I went to work over at the Chem Demil Plant in 2002. I had the pleasure of working and getting to know him as a friend. I am currenty in Colorado and just heard about your loss. He was a man of principle and he surely loved his two daughters and wife. He loved Alabama Football. I will miss him very much. I've had the honor to know Stevie since 2007 as part of our chem demil program and here at ANCDF. Stevie was always actively engaged, providing great feedback and doing his job with excellence. He is missed and my family is saddened by your loss and ours.

Mrs. Flemmons and Family,
Susan and I express our condolences and prayers during this difficult time. It was a blessing and pleasure to be both a co-worker and friend with Steve over the past 12+ years.
Steve was so very proud of his wife, his daughters and especially his grandchildren. I will even go out on a limb and state each of you had a slight advantage of being loved more than the Crimson Tide!
Not being a native to Alabama, Steve was the “ROLL TIDE ROLL” model for us when it came to understanding and loving Alabama football. Steve shared his memories about the leadership and compassion that Coach Bear Bryant displayed both on the field and in life. Steve emulated this style in his treatment of others and as a great example of being an Alabama citizen.
I will always remember Steve as being a person who loved to host the fishing event for needy children each spring. Steve's heart truly reflected the love that God would have us show for each other.
While we will miss Steve, it is a blessing to have the memories and stories that will continue to hold us over as we gather struggle with his loss. Our prayers are with the Flemmons family especially during your time of need.
