AGNES "NANCY" SIMONS
AGE: 91 BELFORD
Agnes "Nancy" Simons, 91, of Belford passed away Thurs., April 9th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.Nancy was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Bloomfield in 1926 where she was raised. She lived in Newark prior to moving to Belford in the '50s. Nancy worked as an outpatient manager at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank for over 20 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Jersey City Bible Students ,the Mother's Club for Boy Scout Troop 227 and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She also belonged to the Middletown Seniors and enjoyed crafts with the SCAN group.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Robert Simons in 1986.She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Faith and William Lockhart of Belford., her sister, Helen Carlson of S. Jersey and brother William Dinwoodie of Fla. and 2 grandsons Steven and Gregory.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St.,Belford. The funeral service will be held at 8 that evening in the funeral home. Burial and committal services will be held 11 am Thurs. at Restland Cemetery,Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made to The Jersey City Bible Students. Condolences may be sent to [email protected]
