Ms. Decker and family, I worked with Alan within the State DCA and always felt Alan's kindness, understanding and consideration towards his fellow workers and the public he served.
Always hold dear the memories of Alan, his strenght and his love of family and country. He was proud of his service to America, and I was thankful for his contribution to freedom. I will pray for him along with the prayers for my father, who I also lost last week.

Dearest, Leslie, Zachary, and Sarah,
Where do we begin to express our loss of such a wonderful man. Alan, a tremendous husband, father, and friend to many. He was so well versed in many subjects, and relentless in teaching others all that he knew. Incredible patience, intelligence, acts of kindness, and hard working ethics only touch the surface of this man.
I pray my sister, Leslie, nephew Zachary, and niece Sarah Ashley heal quickly from such a tremendous and early loss. Bless this family in their time of need.
Love Always, Aunt Lana & Uncle Gary

My sincere sympathy to you in your hour of Sorrow.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
It has been a pleasure working with Alan, Being in the presence of his kind and gentle smile in spite of what was going on or how he felt brought such a peace to the work unit and that's what I will miss.
Know that earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. You and your family are in my thoughts and my prayers.
