I just found out today of your father's passing. He took care of 3 generations in my family, even making house calls for my grandmother. He was more than a doctor he was like a member of my family. He always took the time to explain everything and answer all questions. I have never found another doctor that comes close to him. We will miss him and remember him always. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Vadon took care of my husband like he was his only patient. My husband was 28 when he got rheumatoid arthritis. Once he came out to the car to give him a shot of cortisone. Bob was in his robe and slippers and could not walk into the office his arthritis was so bad. This was when his office was in Elmwood Park.

It is a very sad day for us..We just found this today about our beloved Dr. Vadon. We lived next door to his office in Elmwood Park and were his patients for 18 years before finally moving away to Florida. We have never found another doctor as caring and concerned for our well being as him.He was the best.We practically watched his children grow up from our kitchen window as he made them do their chores around the office such as raking sweeping and washing the car on the weekends. My mother has had bad luck finding a good doctor that can figure out her problems and we were joking and thought we wish Dr.Vadon was here this would never happen. We missed him and his vast medical knowledge and humorous bed side manner so we thought we would look him up today and send send him a letter. We never expected this and are so devistated. We want to send our Sympathy to his entire family and we will say some prayers for him and them this Sunday at Church.May God be with you Albert and your Family..

As I have read the many entries left by his adoring patients, I'm reminded of the personal sacrifices he made to serve his community and patients. He was a phenomenal doctor, working six to seven days a week to provide care for his patients. I'm proud to see the lives he touched through his work. His entire life was spent in being in service to others. Thank you for all your kind words about my father.

It is with extreme sadness and a heavy heart that I write this entry. Dr. Vadon was more than a caring. compassionate and wonderful doctor,. He was an extrodinary human being with one awesome sense of humor. My family first became patients of Dr. Vadon in the very early 70's when he was the one to finally diagnose my mother with systemic Lupus. All other doctors in the medical community just thought that she was crazy. He helped her in her 11 year long battle, never giving up. He often consulted so called professionals reguarding her case, in the chance that he might be wrong. Trust me that was never the case. I will always have a respect and deep admiration and love for this kind soul. He gave us years that we might have never had with our mom. I hope that he never suffered a single day. Wishing you eternal peace always. I always considered you a part of our family and I always will. Rest in peace, you've more than earned it our dear friend.........

I don't even know where to begin... Dr. Vadon was finally the one doctor who figured out and diagnosed my mom with Lupus. All other so called medical professionals thought she was just crazy. Besides being the best doctor to practice medicine he was one of the most caring and compassionate men I've ever met.For 11 hard years he helped her battle her illness. He never thought he knew it all and often consulted others reguarding her case, and he was always the one who was correct in his opinions. No God complex there. As a young child and patient, he gave me years that I might never have had with my mom and I will forever be grateful to Dr. Vadon. I will always love and admire him through all the days of my life. I hope he never had a single day of suffering. I only hope he knew how very much he was loved and admired by all that knew him.

Dr. Vadon was my very first doctor. I was his patient for 25 years before I moved out of the area. My mother, Catherine (Kay) had the privilege of working for him for 5 years before retiring. He was a kind and gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor. My whole family (all former patients) want to express our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be missed.

My father served the Elmwood Park area for 35+ years positively impacting an uncountable number of people and making things better for all. Up in the morning at 5am ...and back at home at 7pm Monday through Saturday. His work never ended. He made great personal sacrifices to assist his patients. Sunday was the only day he took off (and sometimes he still had to go to the hospital even then). In all my travels, I have never met anyone who was willing to make such great personal sacrifices nor do I think I ever will.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
