ALFRED JOYNER SR.
AGE: 78 NEPTUNE
Alfred Joyner Sr., 78, of Neptune, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Crystal River, Fla. and lived in Neptune for the past 50 years. He was a truck driver for Globe Petroleum, Red Bank for the past 18 years. He was an avid bowler and he served in U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Beulah Washington Joyner. Surviving are his children, Michael Thomas of Lexington, Ky., Alfred Joyner of Neptune, Carla Joyner of Conley, Ga., Lamont Accoo of Baltimore, and Teri Booker of Neptune; brother, Ralph Joyner of Tampa; two sisters, Pearlie James and Rachel Porter of Tampa; his lifelong companion, Kate Glenn of Neptune; and nine grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 4 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Burial will be in Tampa, Fla. Condolences may be emailed to [email protected] and will be received by the family.

The Joyner Family,
I was shocked and sadden by the lost of my friend Al. I work with Al @ Globe for many years. I will remember his smile and laughter every morning that he came into work. As you all know, Al could out work men half his age. He worked smarter and harder then most. I will miss him greatly.
