ALFRED W. TAPP, JR.
AGE: 65
WEST KEANSBURG
Alfred W. Tapp, Jr., 65, of the West Keansburg section of Hazlet, died on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Bayshore Community Hospital. He was a mail handler for USPS, Jersey City from 1973 to 1999, retiring 10 years ago. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of VFW Post #2179, Middletown and The American Legion Post 321, Union Beach.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Anne Wysmulek Tapp; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and James Mills of Pocano Summit, PA; a son, Joseph R. Tapp of Washington D.C.; one grandson, T.J. of Pocano Summit; a sister, Anna Young of Brick; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Dec. 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg. Funeral service will be on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment, Holmdel Mausoleum.
