Alice J. Cisek

AGE: 87 • Brick

Alice J. Cisek, 87, of Brick, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Mildred Tracy, she graduated high school in Valley Stream, Long Island, NY. Alice was a longtime resident of Middletown, NJ where she raised her family. Alice was a snow-bird in the winter residing in Florida since 1994, and most recently she settled at the Chelsea at Brick. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Middletown where she was a past president of the Altar Rosary Society and where she volunteered her time to various community organizations. Alice was active with the Middletown Garden Club and she was a proud Central Jersey Aquatic Club (CJAC) Swimming Mom, always supporting her children in all of their activities. She was an adoring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed all of the quality time spent with her family.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene N. Cisek in 1978, and her dear siblings William Tracy and Eileen Dailey.

Surviving are her loving children, Donna German and husband Charlie, Doreen Barry and husband Mark, Stephen Cisek and wife Maureen, Lori Dudek and husband James, Lisa Mindieta and husband Matthew, and Tracy MacPherson and husband Chris; her cherished grandchildren, Chuck, Nicholas, Lauren, April, Shauna, Mark, Ryan, Christopher, Stephanie, Todd, and Madison; her four great grandchildren, Dylan, Ashlyn, Skylar, and Aubrey; and her dear siblings, James Tracy, Joan Bowden, Richard Tracy, and brothers-in-law Jack Bowden and Frank Dailey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Friday, September 26th at St. William the Abbot Church, Howell. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
