Angelo Soriano Obituary
AGE: 85 • Hazlet
Angelo J. Soriano, 85, of Hazlet, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Newark to the late Cutaldo and Antoinette Spango Soriano. He was a machinist with Westinghouse, Bloomfield, for 30 years, retiring in 1985. He served his country in the Army during peacetime. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Angelo was also predeceased by his loving daughter, Linda Pawling. He is survived by his son-in-law, Ernest Pawling of Union Beach; a brother, Joseph Soriano of Nutley; and three cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul and Patrick Pawling.
Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, with a prayer at 8 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport. Cremation will be private. We were shocked to learn of Andy's passing.Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.Andy was a wonderful person and neighbor for the 36 happy years we lived there.He saw our 2 girls grow up. He will be missed.
