Dear Chris and Merry - Just heard about your dad and I am so sorry. He was such a great guy. My fondest memories from childhood are crossing through the field between my house and your house and spending time over there (he was practically a second dad to me); having him as Chris' and my Webelo leader and soccer coach; and even doing some shows with him at St.Mary's Franklin. He will be so truly missed and always remembered and in my thoughts.

I think I last saw Art at our 50th Arlington High School Reunion in 2014. Before that, our paths crossed back around 2004/5 when I needed CPA assistance for my florist business in Wellesley. I drove down to Franklin 2-3 times with reams of paperwork and was always greeted with a warm smile. It was great reminiscing with him about the old days growing up in East Arlington (Crosby School, JHE, AHS), and seeing the pride he had for his adopted kids that he loved so dearly. His passing hits home. I'm turning 71 next week. Farewell, my friend...

I was a close friend of Arts growing up in Arlington. I worked for his family newspaper business for a couple years. Arthur was always a gentleman. I tried to get ahold of him after Paul died, to no avail. Now it's Ginny to carry on the family legacy. Rest in Peace Art! You're in God's hands now.

I was saddened to learn of Art's passing. It's been many years since I saw him but he'll always be a friend. My mother sold the newspaper delivery service to his parents. I spent quite a bit of time in the paper barn behind his house on Mass Ave as a paperboy. I also graduated Arlington High with Paul.
My deepest condolences go out to his family. He will always be remembered.

I was friends with Art when he lived in Arlington. My mother sold the newspaper delivery service to his parents. My days as a paperboy at the paper barn in back of their house on Mass Ave were memories I'll never forget. I fondly remember his parents and his sister Ginny. I also graduated Arlington High with his brother Paul.
My deepest sympathies go out to all his family.

To the Corbett Family. I used to play volleyball with Arthur for many years, while we all lived in Franklin. He always made our volleyball nights so much fun. Getting us to laugh while always being in a good mood. We had several summer parties at his house, where Arthur would set up the slip and slide made for children but the adults used it. Fresh clams were served by our other volleyball friend Rick and everyone brought their own special dishes. It was a wonderful and fun time. I treasure those memories and will miss Arthur always.

I will his simple philosophy of life - not being judgemental, being considerate, loving life and enjoying a good laugh over a bad joke.
When people say, he never said a mean word about anybody they could be talking about Art.
