Arthur Friedman Obituary
AGE: 88 • Clarksburg
Clarksburg - Dr. Arthur Friedman died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living, Jackson. He was 88. Born in Newark, he resided in East Brunswick for many years before moving to Clarksburg. Prior to his retirement 10 years ago, he was an oral surgeon in New Brunswick and then North Brunswick for 50 years. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Alper Friedman in 1996, and two sons, Douglas Friedman in 1977 and Randy H. Friedman in 2002. Surviving are a son, Mitchell and his wife Carrie Friedman of Clarksburg; a daughter, Lois Friedman of Margate, FL; and a granddaughter, Sophia Friedman.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Anshe Emeth Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements are under the supervision of the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. For directions to the cemetery or to send condolences to the family, visit www.rezemfh.com

I want to express my sympathy to the Friedman family. My late husband was a dentist in Highland Park and he and Art often shared lunch and conversation. They were good friends.Also I remember taking my future son-in-law to Dr. Friedman for an extraction and Art graciously let "Mom"stay in the operating room to hold the patient's hand.
