Arthur Krumm was born in Jersey City on October 16th, 1921. He was adopted and raised by Fred and Clara Krumm. He was a graduate of William Dickinson High School in Jersey City. Arthur served as the Mayor of Wall Township in 1970 and served on the Township Committee for three terms.. He was a past President of Monmouth County Municipal Association, served on the Wall Township Planning Board,, Recreation Commission, and was a member of the Wall Twp. Republican Club and a Wall Kiwanis Club member. Even in his nineties, Arthur volunteered at the Wall Library where he was also a member of the Library Board. Arthur was one of the Founding members of Wall Community First Aid Squad.

Arthur retired from NJ Bell Telephone Company in 1982 after 35 years of dedicated service as an account executive. After retirement, Arthur served as Wall Township Code Enforcement Officer.

Arthur was a member of the American Legion Post 432 Spring Lake and during World War II served with the Army Air Force in Italy and Africa. He was a life member at large with Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Of all Arthur's accomplishments, the greatest in life was his family. He was married for sixty-eight wonderful years to his late wife Adelaide Howard Krumm. He is survived by two loving daughters, Jennifer Bollenbach of Brick and Liese DeBona and her husband Tony of Wall. He will be missed by his three grandchildren: Kerry Bollenbach, Jason Klinger and Melissa Aronsson and her husband Austin. He leaves behind his sister Elizabeth Emmons and brother Robert Messerschmidt and sister-in-law Elizabeth Messerschmidt. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Jill and Jim Reilly, John and Kathy McWeeney, Linda Morse, William and Joanne Messerschmidt, Jeffrey Messerschmidt and Wayne and Linda Emmons.

In addition to his wife Adelaide, Arthur is predeceased by his brothers Warren and Henry Messerschmidt.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday May 18 from 3-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Friday May 19 at funeral home. Interment to follow at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
