I only just heard about Brittany's passing a few days ago. I am a Guardian ad Litem in Vermont and had the honor of working with Brittany for a couple of years. Brittany was incredibly dedicated to the families she worked with. She had boundless compassion and empathy. She gave so much of herself. She will be missed by so many people whose lives she impacted. Sending my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Brittany was an amazing person. She was one of my foster kids' social workers and we worked together for almost the whole two years we had them. She was also a brilliant JSC alum and could have gone on to pursue a wildly successful career in law or political science, but chose to work at an incredibly difficult and underpaid job advocating for kids in foster care. I, along with the kids' new family, will forever be grateful for what she did for those (and many other) kids.

Your grandfather and I will miss you. You were a beautiful part of our family and a lovely, vital person who lit up a room when you came in.

Brittany was such a delight. She was always inviting and would offer me a seat next to her during our classes when I felt out of place. I will never forget her kindness. Condolences to her husband, family and friends.
