Bruce Jetter Obituary
AGE: 62 • Hazlet
Bruce T. Jetter, 62, of Hazlet, NJ, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Holmdel . He was born in Manhattan, NY and lived in all of his life in Hazlet. He was a graduate of Raritan High School class of 1969, He then went into the U S Air Force serving from 1969 to 1975 during the Vietnam War. Bruce worked as a Logistics Management Specialist at Ft Monmouth since 1982 retiring last year. He was a communicant of St. Benedict R. C. Church Holmdel. Bruce was a member of the NRA and numerous gun clubs .
Surviving are his brother and sister in law - Timothy and Maureen Jetter of Matawan, NJ;and 2 Nephews - Matthew and Christopher Jetter;and many cousins.
Bruce was preceded in death by His parents Harold and Alice Jetter.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday 9:15 at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30am at St. Benedict R.C. Church, 165 Bethany Rd., Holmdel. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

Bruce was a good friend and teammate at Raritan High School. An outstanding athlete and human being, a gentleman with a decency that is so rare to find anymore.

Bruce was my Mentor at Fort Monmouth. He always assisted me unselfishly and willingly. The laughs and long talks will always be remembered......And, YOU WILL BE MISSED.

Bruce was a very funny and sincere guy. We had great fun in school and enjoyed working with him at S.S. White. Class of 1969 will truly miss this angel. My deepest condolences to his family.

Bruce and I were friends in the neighborhood and classroom around 1960 to 1967. My sincere condolences to the Jetter family in their time of sorrow and loss. I remember Bruce as a kind and considerate friend, as do so many others from Raritan High School's class of 1969. Rest peacefully.

Bruce was a wonderful, close personal friend. We were "thick as thieves" in our high school days. We loved to reminisce about Phys Ed class and coach Conti calling us "Jeeper and Minuti". Bruce was a great teammate and I will surely miss "The Jet".
