Catherine Stajek Obituary
AGE: 94 • Toms River
Catherine Stajek, 94, of Toms River, passed on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at her home. Born in Newark, she lived in Kearny before moving to Toms River in 1975. Catherine was an inspector for RCA in Harrison for many years before her retirement in 1975. She was a parishioner of St. Luke R.C. Church, Toms River, a member of the Holiday City Women's Club and the Mummers.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward, who passed in 1993; her brother, Thomas Lyons, and Margaret Lyons. She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife Judy; her two daughters, Judith and her husband Stephen Gepp and Patricia and her husband Fred Vorwerk. She also leaves three sisters, Mary Kemprowski, Anna Carfagno and Rita Lyons-Henry and her 6 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at St. Luke R.C. Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River. Entombment to follow Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements. www.silvertonmemorial.com
