AGE: 85 • Toms River
Celia Marie Flannery, 85, of Toms River, NJ died on Monday November 24, 2014 at the Arbors Care Center in Manchester NJ. She was born in New York City where she graduated from Julia Richmond HS and NYU. She enjoyed working as the Reservation Manager for the Sheraton East and The Plaza Hotel in NYC for many years. Celia moved to Green Brook, NJ to raise her family and later moved to Toms River, NJ where she enjoyed sailing on the Barnegat Bay.
Celia is predeceased by her husband, James Flannery and her sister, Catherine DeRasmo. Surviving is her daughter, Celia Hollick and her husband Richard Ryan of Toms River, NJ; two sons, James Flannery and his wife Susan of Palm Coast, FL and William Flannery of NC; former son-in-law, Jeffrey Hollick; four grandchildren, Victoria, Alyssa, Sarah and Paige; two brothers, Anthony DeMarco and his wife Janice of Washington Township, NJ and Nicholas DeMarco and his wife Marge of Massapequa, NY.
Family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday November 29, 2014 from 4pm-8pm with a service at 7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 995 Fischer Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Committal will be private. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
