My childhood memories of Uncle Charlie consist of Plymouth bumpers, bomb shelters and catching the brass ring on the merry go round. As I got older there was no lack of conversation. Uncle Charlie had an opinion on everything. I haven't seen him in quite some time and it is my loss. He had a lot of knowledge up in that head. He will surely be missed.

My Uncle Charlie was a man of many talents and interests, and was a large and fascinating figure in my childhood growing up. I have many fond memories of him and will miss him. My mom Pegs words above capture how I feel. So God Speed and God Bless You Uncle Charlie!

Charlie's family has inherited a marvelous legacy of intellectual curiosity, perseverance of mind and spirit, and a joyful love of life, and laughter...from a very hard working and honest man so many of us admired. A lively, interesting character...who
loved to debate his ideas with others; he loved his family dearly, and now those fine ethical values are passed on down to his beloved, grieving, but very fortunate family. Aunt Peg
