Oh, Chet was such a wonderful and funny man. Always giving of his time and sharing a laugh and a joke! I know he is up there rounding up a team and gently coaching them into shape (and hopefully pitching again!) We have missed you guys and think of you often.

Dear Aunt Eleanor,
I, Sandy, live in a city in the south of Ukraine called Zaporizhzhya. I have been here for 3 years now, though I have been back to the states 3 times in that period. My e-mail address is [email protected]. I feel sorry for you and all the family. I hope Chet did not suffer before he died. I've had my own health problems here. I had a heart attack in May of 2010 and coronary artery replacement surgery in July. My address here is 310 Kuibysheva Rd., Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine, 69007. My wife is not in good health but the girls, Sofia and Katherine, are. They are both teenagers now. Sofia is 15 and Katherine is 14. I wish you well and send my deepest condolences.
Love always Sandy

Dave, Mollie and the rest of the Pawlowski family -
I'm sorry to learn of your loss! I only had that small time at H-SC to meet your dad; however, I know how special he was to you and your family.
You're in our thoughts and prayers!

Chet was a wonderful man. As a fellow firefighter, he and I forever were talking about the old days of firefighting and anything else that was going on. I'm going to miss him as a distant family member. May God bless the entire family during this trying time. He has a wonderful family that he left behind.

I'm going to miss that smile and talking about baseball right before or after church. May the Angels come to greet him where he can dwell in the House of the Lord for all time.

I will miss talking sports with Chet and sharing mass on Saturday evenings. Chet played ball with my home team, the Pelicans of New Orleans.
Chet was a great guy.
