Claire L. McKeown

AGE: 89 • Berkeley Township

Claire L. McKeown (nee Weston), 89, of the Silver Ridge Park section of Berkeley Twp., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the N.J. Veterans Home, Edison. Claire was born in Jersey City and lived in Morrisville, Pa. until moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1989. She was a parishioner of St. John's R.C. Church in Lakehurst.

Claire is survived by her husband, Joseph; her sons, Joseph and his wife Ruth and Kevin; her daughters, Kathleen and her husband Charles McGroarty, Eileen and her husband Charles Bifulco, and Ellen and her husband Carl Davies; and her sister, Margaret Schmelz. Claire is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive their friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at the Timothy E Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at St. John's R.C. Church, Lakehurst. Entombment will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
