Daniel Edward Scott, 59, of Apollo Beach, FL, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 in Cienfuegos, Cuba. Born in South Amboy, NJ, he grew up in Sayreville, NJ before moving to Connecticut, New York, North Carolina, and Maryland and then retiring to Apollo Beach, FL in 2015. Dan graduated from Sayreville War Memorial HS in 1974, receiving an Associates Degree from Middlesex County College in 1976 and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Pratt University in 1978. Daniel was an Information Technologist. He began his career at GE and worked for multiple companies including General Reinsurance, NBC, Keane Consulting and Century Communication before running his own Geeks on Call franchise.

Daniel was predeceased by his mother, Helen R. Scott in 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline A. Scott of Apollo Beach, FL; his father, Richard F. Scott of Whiting; four brothers, James, Thomas, Michael and Jeffrey Scott and three sisters, Janie Minnella, Laura Kasnowski and Nancy Chin; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ with a funeral service at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Entombment will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, March 21st at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
