David Calderon Obituary
AGE: 15 • Morganville
David Jake Calderon, 15, of Morganville, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He was born in New Brunswick and has been a lifelong resident of Morganville, NJ. David was a student at Marlboro High School and was attending a vocational school in Freehold for Cooking, which he had a love for. In his earlier years he was into sports and played both soccer and lacrosse. He was very creative and enjoyed building and constructing things with his hands no matter what projects they may have been. His family and friends were very important to him and he shared a love for each and every one of them. He was an animal lover and cherished his pets. One of David's passions was traveling and he was able to travel all over the world to places like Europe and Hawaii. He enjoyed cruises and traveled within the U.S. as well. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
He will be sorely missed by parents, Rene and Marzena Calderon; 2 brothers, Michael and Christopher Calderon; his maternal grandparents, Zofia and Jan Markiewicz, and his dog and cat, Saddie and Caly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 5pm - 9pm and Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 3pm - 7pm at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ 07751. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday from 10am - 11am at the funeral home and a funeral ceremony will take place at 11am. I am so sorry to hear of your loss from my daughter who was a American History classmate of David's. His death has had a profound effect, she loved how he spoke with such confidence. Our hearts go out to all those who were touched by his life and death.

This was all so sudden. David, you were my best friend. Nothing will change that. I swear, i will never forget all the fantastic times we've had. Never. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Our deepest condolences are with your family as you grieve. My daughter Kelly was friends with David and said he was always such a good kid and is very sorry for your loss. It's great that he got to travel and experience different parts of the world. I am deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. I have been praying for him all week. My daughter Rachael was friends with him and losing someone so young is such a tragedy. After reading about David's life, Ifeel better to know how much he loved life and that he was fortunate enough to travel around the world. Now he can see the world from a grander view than all of us. My prayers are with his family. Please know there are many who pray! Rest in peace David.
