DOROTHY GASKILL MICHAL
AGE: 82 TOMS RIVER
Dorothy Gaskill Michal, 82, of Toms River, passed on Sunday Aug. 9, 2009 at Community Medical Center Hospice, Toms River. Born in Newark where she lived until moving to Toms River 54 years ago. Mrs Michal was an Assembler for Torwico Electronics in Lakewood for 20 years she retired in 1991. She was a member of St Andrew Methodist Church, Toms River and a life member of the Silverton Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Darwin who passed in 1987 and a brother Henry Layer. She is survived by her loving husband, Alexander J. Michal; a daughter, Carol and her husband Barry Cohn and her son, Keith and his wife Janet Gaskill all of Beachwood; two step daughters, Susan and her husband Ray Britton and Kathy and her husband Peter Cantwell; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ. Funeral Service Thursday 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home, arrive at 9:30 AM. Burial to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Rt 37 West, Toms River would be appreciated. www.silvertonmemorial.com
