Edward K. Zeiser

AGE: 82 • Keansburg

Edward K Zeiser, 82, of Keansburg, died Monday, April 4, 2011, in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born and raised in Newark and moved to Keansburg in 1944. He received an honorable discharge after serving three years with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific and Korea. He retired in 1989 as an Asst. Vice President for Midlantic National Bank in Neptune. He has been an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Keansburg.

Surviving are his wife, Celestina Zeiser of Keansburg; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Allen Sjoblom of Wall; and his sister, Hazel Kirchmayr of Dover.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 7 at the Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Keansburg.
